What a fantastic first term in Prep. We have been exploring 'Our Community' this term and have visited the local library, Safeway (including behind the scenes of the fridge and freezers, the butcher and bakery), Rosebud Kinder, and next week we will visit Greg's Butcher to explore how sausages are made. We even had a visit from the Police and Fire Brigade. We are so lucky to be located right in the heart of our community and the children have loved our small excursions out of the school. Thank you for all the wonderful support from the places we have visited. Below we have included some photos for you to enjoy.

Welcome to the Preps' first post. We have had such a busy start to term 1 and the children have settled into school routines really well. We have looked at the letters A, P, T, S, D, F and M so far, and have really enjoyed beginning to sound out new words. In maths, we have looked closely at the numbers 1 to 10, shapes, picture graphs about our favourite fruit (strawberries being the clear winner) and measuring our length. Mrs Bodger and Mrs Teoh are amazed at how clever the children all are. Please enjoy a few photos of life in the Prep rooms at Rosebud Primary School.
