Our trip to Melbourne Zoo!

Our excursion to Melbourne Zoo this year was a great success and the rain managed to stay away most of the day. Many of the Preps had never been to the zoo or even on a bus so it was a very exciting day. Zoo school was wonderful and we got to touch as snake, turtle and a frog. The children really enjoyed getting close to such interesting animals even if they were a little nervous! I wonder if all the kids noticed what the zoo had done to ensure the animals had a happy habitat. We are looking forward to some interesting discussions back in the classroom.
